SolTerrah is designing prototypes for two iterations of this dynamic concept. War torn nations, drought-stricken regions and desert climates often force women and girls to carry water for hours per day, depriving them of an education and self-development. Collectively, this impedes the development of an educated and skilled workforce and constantly threatens the health of inhabitants that are exposed to dirty drinking water. Bringing water to the points of greatest need will greatly enhance the lives of those who need it most. Our solution for a mobile, solar water producer is ground breaking. Appropriately, we named this device Air Faucet.

A simple solar water producer that takes water from the air can be constructed with basic materials. Air Faucet captures the power of the sun and converts ambient moisture in the air to drinking water. Years ago, Dr. Prueitt pioneered this concept and using current state of the art materials, is bringing this incredible device to the marketplace.

No existing technology comes close to our low cost, efficient and reliable solar water collector. As of July, 2009, the Air Faucet prototype is nearing completion and will be ready for commercialization shortly thereafter.
